Von Childs’ Bio

How It All Started.

Von Childs, also known by his birth name, Travon Bracey, is an award-winning Creative Director, Wardrobe Stylist, Multidisciplinary Artist, Curator and Entrepreneur. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Von has been working in the arts/entertainment industry since the age of 15, starting his career in both broadcast and print journalism working for companies such as The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and VOX Teen Communications before discovering his love for fashion while working in the field at the age of 17.

His Role in The Fashion Industry.

Since then, Von created a name for himself in the fashion industry by becoming a fashion stylist for private clientele, though he continued to flourish the industry as a jr. fashion editor for the former CONDE NAST-owned publication, Lucky Magazine a fashion director for several agencies including Ultimate Model & Talent Agency, INC & The Golden Agency, a fashion critic and contributor for Mr. Manuscript, a UK-based menswear blog and an Atlanta-based media company called F.E.M.M (fashion-entertainment-music-media), a visual merchandiser for several companies including Banana Republic, Nordstrom, Macy's, Dillard's, Von Maur, Saks Fifth Avenue, Walmart, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Imagine Exhibitions and a few small fashion boutiques in Atlanta, Houston, Chicago and New York, just to name a few. In 2013, Von with several other co-founders founded Africa Fashion Week (Atlanta), making him one of the youngest fashion professionals to establish a major fashion week in the city at the age of 19. Also in 2013, Von was nominated for Best Blogger in Fashion/Beauty at the Metro Atlanta Fashion & Beauty Awards, recognizing his creativity in his mainstream writing with Lucky Magazine, Top Fashionista Now, Huffington Post and AFROPUNK.

Retail was also a thriving direction for Von because in 2021, Von was awarded by Gap, Inc for his exceptional work as a visual merchandiser for Banana Republic for Best Visual Store Design of Excellence, making him an award-winning visual merchandiser. Recently, he served as an independent Apparel Merchandising Coordinator for Winston Retail, continuing his creative journey in the visual merchandising world.

While establishing a fashion career full-time during 2013-2018, Von pursue two fashion degrees, an associate of arts in Fashion Merchandising from Bauder College in 2015 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Marketing & Management, minoring in Menswear at Savannah College of Art & Design in 2018, as well as he was granted a certificate from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business in Social Media Marketing in 2019.

The Birth and Continuation of ArtREV & Co.

Because of his numerous amount of work in the fashion and art industry, Von established his own powerhouse sector called ArtREV & Co. in late 2013 as a multidisciplinary creative agency, offering services such as creative direction, wardrobe styling, artistry management, project management, image consulting, art and event curating and marketing. The company has operated for 11 years, providing creative and professional work in fashion, contemporary arts, music, tv/film, entertainment, hospitality and non-profit. The company went viral in spring of 2015 after releasing a written interview with professional model and musician, Yves Mathieu East, which is marked as Yves' first media interview that grew notoriety to go from being an independent model to being signed to a major agency in a matter of a year. ArtREV & Co is also responsible for putting spotlight on creative individuals such as designer and stylist, Sydney Stewart, musician and songwriter, Kori James and celebrity designer and stylist, DeMariyon Futch. In 2018, Von won an award from Simply Elevated Magazine for ‘Best Creative Direction’, making him an award-winning Creative Director. After rebranding the company’s website in early 2025, the company was nominated for ‘Best Art Direction’, by W3’s Web Design Awards.

His Journey on The Panel ATL Podcast.

Between 2017-2020, Von and other content creators (executive produced by Khafre A. Johnson and co-produced by Eshia Davis & Nzingha Hall) came together and developed the infamous The Panel ATL Podcast, a podcast that considered of seven individuals in Atlanta discussing topics such as dating, pop culture, entertainment and social/politics issues. The podcast received critical acclaim through their audience and was in production for three seasons, aiming to over 20,000+ listeners through all streaming platforms. Von was credited as a co-host and co-contributor of the podcast.

History of Signed Agencies & Membership Organizations

In 2018, Von signed a management/talent deal with The Golden Agency in contributions to wardrobe styling, fashion directing, and backstage coordination. This is the third management Von has been signed to as previously, Von was signed to Melinda Artistry Management NY for one year between 2013-2014 and Manikin Model & Talent Agency for one year between 2015-2016. He has been signed to The Golden Agency now for 6 years, making him one of the veteran talents to the company since its beginning journey. Due to this, Von has received credited through published styling work including for brands, fashion productions, and film work. Other accomplishing things Von has contributed as being a current member of The Fashion Group International, a current member of Forbes BLK, a former Hems & Brims board of director member.

Contribution Towards Education & Mentorship.

He has occupied his time as a Fashion Mentor and Adjunct Fashion Professor to both Hems & Brims and Savannah College of Art & Design’s online campus and partnered ArtREV & Co with the SCADPro program for alumni students for four years between 2021-2025.

Major Creative Directing Roles.

Von also served as the Creative Director for Stud Model Project between 2022-2023 and the Creative Director for KL Allen’s Perfect Population by KL Allen fashion house in 2024, for a short timing.

His History in Film & Performance Art

In film, Von has over 21 credits, with contributions to set design for several film projects including the motion picture, Spell, in 2020 and I'm a Virgo, an Amazon Prime series in 2023 and for Stud Model Project: Pilot Series in 2018 as well as being credited as a costume designer for a short film called The Conspiracy Theorist and being a wardrobe stylist for a Kaiser Permanente commercial in 2023. In 2020, Von debuted his first independent short film, marking him as a multidisciplinary artist for a performance art short piece entitled The Quarantine Cycle, which received well critically acclaimed status internationally at the 2020 South Africa International Short Film Festival. He also served as the co-executive producer of short film series, directed by cinematographer Rodney Hawkins, called ‘Untitled: Limited Series’ early that year.

In 2025, Von made his first acting debut on Tubi Original series, Demascus, which premiered in August 2025, though production was filmed in summer of 2022.

His Work in Music

In music, Von has contributed to several musical projects including being the art director for Myles Awai’s ‘Daydream’ EP in 2019, serving as the creative director and photographer for the album’s artwork and Oseph Park’s ‘3:33’ EP project in 2020, serving as the executive producer and art director of the album’s artwork package. After a few years of experimenting, he redirected his talents back into the music industry, but as a Creative Director, by establishing an Artist Development sector into his company. In late 2024, it was announced that he became the Creative Director for professional opera singer and R&B artist, Travis Hall, helping him with his debut single, ‘A Day’, music video as one of the co-stylists and curating a creative team to develop Hall’s album artwork, as well as serve as the Co-Creative Director for his debut album, HeART Museum, expected to release in late Summer 2025. He also signed actor, model, entertainer, and hip-hop musical artist, Giovanni V, as his creative direction client to help brand the artist’s visuals and future endeavors. Von served as the cinematographer, co-editor, and co-director for Giovanni V’s debut single ‘B.U.L.L.Y. PT. 2’ official trailer and music video, from his early 2025 album release, FINAL CLIMAX, as well as his photographer, creative director and co-stylist of numerous photo shoots.

Von thrives to continue to work with more music artists as next focus within his creative director career.

History in Activism & Community Involvement.

In activism, Von served as a coordinator to several activism projects including being a curator alongside with his oldest sibling, Tiejah Davis, for a Black Trans Lives Matter movement march in June 2020 that made headlines in Project Q, AJC and The New York Times. He also served as one of the 30 contributors to the infamous Michael Brown march in Atlanta in 2015. Von has spoken at several seminars advocating for black women, gentrification in Atlanta, public education, social justice and LGBTQ+ advocacy. In 2025, Von partnered with Black Rayne Productions as their Special Projects Coordinator to curate the Mental Health Initiative campaign, an ongoing campaign project designed to create awareness in Black Men’s Mental Awareness, making it monumental for an adult entertainment company in the industry to pursue the masses about social & psychological awareness both in the adult industry and in the black LGBTQ+ community.

Currently, while Von still serves as the CEO & Founder of ArtREV & Co, Special Projects Coordinator for Black Rayne Productions and is a candle & perfume-making instructor for Lot 23 Chandler Co..
